This Jam Nut is used in place of crush washers or shim kits to properly align muzzle devices such as muzzle brakes and flash hiders that need to be timed.
The Jam Nut is threaded onto the barrel before the muzzle device and then is backed out to tighten against the back side of the muzzle device.
